Stables
There are two stable blocks which are well ventilated with an open plan design for happy horses. Each stable is 14ft x 12ft (approx 4.3m x 3.7m) in size. All stables are fitted with automatic water drinkers, tie rings, fluorescent strip lighting and are well drained. The horses are bedded on shavings to reduce dust and mould spores.
Grazing
The farm is set in 70 acres (approx 28 hectares) of land, this provides us with excellent turnout all year round weather permitting.Mares and Geldings are kept in separate fields so there is less chance of bullying and there decreases the chance of injury. The horses are rotated every six months to a new field to let tired grazing recover and to help with our worming programme.
All the fields are securely fenced with either post & rail or large hedges and are harrowed, rolled and fertilised when needed.
